We use this information to operate, secure, improve, and troubleshoot the Service.

2.5 Communications

If you contact us, we may collect your name, email address, message content, and any information you choose to provide so we can respond, support your account, enforce our policies, or keep appropriate business records.

2.6 Information From Third-Party Services

We may receive limited information from service providers or platform providers that support the Service, such as Apple, hosting providers, analytics providers, cloud infrastructure providers, payment processors, email providers, moderation tools, and customer support tools.

3. How We Use Information

We may use information for the following purposes:

  • To provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service;

  • To analyze app performance, reliability, and member engagement;

  • To develop new features, publications, and member experiences;

  • To comply with legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, and App Store obligations;

  • To protect the rights, safety, and property of LookBook, our members, and others.

We do not sell traditional advertising inventory in the Service. We may still use limited analytics to understand how the Service is used and improve the member experience.

4. User Content and Public Visibility

Certain information you submit may be visible to other members or, if we later offer public-facing editorial pages, to the public. This may include your profile name, submitted photographs, vehicle metadata, captions, and any contact information you choose to display.

You are responsible for the information you choose to make visible. Avoid posting sensitive personal information, private addresses, financial information, or any information you do not want others to see.

We may feature, curate, organize, or display submitted content within the Service in accordance with our Terms of Service and community standards.

5. How We Share Information

We may share information in the following situations.

5.1 Service Providers

We may share information with vendors and service providers that help us operate the Service, such as cloud hosting, database, storage, analytics, crash reporting, email, customer support, security, moderation, and payment-related service providers.

These providers are authorized to use information only as necessary to provide services to us or as otherwise permitted by law.

5.2 Platform Providers

For iOS app subscriptions and in-app purchases, Apple processes transactions and may share limited subscription-related information with us so we can provide access and manage entitlements.

5.3 Legal and Safety Reasons

We may disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to:

  • Comply with law, legal process, court orders, subpoenas, or government requests;

  • Enforce our Terms of Service or other policies;

  • Detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, abuse, or technical issues;

  • Protect the rights, property, safety, or integrity of LookBook, our members, or others.

5.4 Business Transfers

If LookBook is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, information may be transferred or disclosed as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

5.5 With Your Direction or Consent

We may share information when you direct us to do so or give us permission.

6. Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies

Our website may use cookies, pixels, local storage, analytics tools, or similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, understand usage, prevent abuse, and improve performance.

Our app may use device-level identifiers, diagnostics, analytics, or similar technologies where permitted by platform settings and applicable law.

We do not use the Service to sell third-party advertising placements. If we later introduce new analytics, tracking, or partner integrations, we will update this Privacy Policy as appropriate.

7. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain accounts, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain business records, prevent abuse, and improve the Service.

If you delete your account or request deletion, we will delete or de-identify information where required by law, subject to reasonable exceptions such as legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, backups, accounting records, dispute resolution, and enforcement of our agreements.

Some content may remain in backups for a limited period before being deleted in the ordinary course of backup rotation.

8. Account Deletion and Privacy Requests

You may request account deletion or submit privacy-related requests by contacting us at help@lookbookllc.com.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:

  • Access personal information we maintain about you;

  • Correct inaccurate information;

  • Delete certain personal information;

  • Obtain a copy of certain information;

  • Opt out of certain processing activities;

  • Appeal a decision regarding a privacy request, where required by law.

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. We may deny or limit requests where permitted by law.

Deleting your LookBook account does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store subscription. You must manage or cancel App Store subscriptions through your Apple account settings.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete it.

If the Service is made available in jurisdictions with higher age thresholds for consent, we will comply with applicable requirements.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for restricting access to your devices.

11. International Users

LookBook is based in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws different from those in your location.

12. State and Regional Privacy Notices

Certain U.S. state privacy laws may provide residents with specific rights regarding personal information. To the extent applicable, we will honor rights required by applicable law.

We do not sell personal information in the traditional sense. We also do not operate the Service as an advertising network. If our practices change in a way that triggers additional opt-out rights, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide required choices.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice as required by law, such as by updating the effective date, posting notice in the Service, or contacting you.

Your continued use of the Service after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means you acknowledge the updated policy.
