Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of GARAGE and any related websites, applications, products, subscriptions, features, content, and services operated by LookBook LLC (“LookBook,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) that link to these Terms (collectively, the “Service”).
By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, submitting content, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information.
2. The Service
GARAGE is a member-focused editorial and community platform for automotive photography, discovery, and curated presentation. The Service may include member profiles, submitted entries, editorial features, collections, vehicle metadata, events, directories, and other related experiences.
The Service is not a marketplace, dealership, broker, auction platform, classified advertising service, or vehicle sales platform. Any off-platform communication between members is solely between those individuals.
LookBook may expand the Service to include additional publications, directories, or membership experiences, such as HOME, THINGS, PLACES, Red Book, or other products. Additional terms may apply to specific products or features.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your location, you may use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
By using the Service, you represent that:
You can form a binding agreement with LookBook;
You are not prohibited from using the Service under applicable law;
The information you provide is accurate and complete;
You will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.
4. Accounts
You may need an account to access some or all of the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree not to:
Create an account using false or misleading information;
Impersonate another person or entity;
Share, sell, transfer, or sublicense your account;
Use another person’s account without permission;
Attempt to bypass access controls, paywalls, or subscription requirements.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for LookBook, other members, or the Service.
5. Subscriptions, Billing, and App Store Purchases
Certain parts of the Service require a paid subscription. For subscriptions purchased through the iOS app, billing is handled by Apple through your Apple account.
Subscription terms, pricing, renewal periods, free trials, introductory offers, promotional offers, cancellation options, and refund eligibility may be displayed in the app, on the App Store, or through Apple’s subscription management interface.
Unless canceled, auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You are responsible for managing and canceling your subscription through your Apple account settings.
LookBook cannot directly cancel Apple App Store subscriptions on your behalf and does not control Apple’s refund decisions. Refund requests for App Store purchases must be directed to Apple unless otherwise required by law.
Deleting the app or deleting your LookBook account does not automatically cancel your Apple subscription.
We may change subscription pricing, features, plans, or availability from time to time, subject to applicable law and platform rules. If a subscription is discontinued, we will handle existing subscriber access in accordance with applicable App Store requirements and law.
6. User Content
The Service may allow you to upload, submit, publish, display, or transmit photographs, captions, vehicle details, profile information, comments, messages to support, reports, or other materials (“User Content”).
You retain ownership of your User Content, subject to the license you grant below.
By submitting User Content, you represent and warrant that:
You own or have all necessary rights to submit the User Content;
The User Content does not infringe or violate any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contractual, property, or other rights;
The User Content does not violate these Terms, our community standards, or applicable law;
You have permission from identifiable individuals, property owners, photographers, rights holders, or other relevant parties where required;
Any vehicle, location, or personal information you submit may be displayed as part of the Service.
7. License to User Content
By submitting User Content, you grant LookBook a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to host, store, reproduce, display, publish, distribute, modify for formatting, adapt for technical presentation, create excerpts or previews from, curate, feature, and otherwise use your User Content in connection with operating, promoting, improving, and providing the Service.
This license allows us to:
Display your entries in the app;
Feature selected entries in curated editorial sections;
Resize, crop, or format images for technical and design purposes;
Use submitted content in previews, screenshots, promotional materials, or editorial communications related to the Service;
Preserve content as needed for backups, legal compliance, moderation, security, and business records.
We will not claim ownership of your User Content. If you remove User Content or delete your account, we will stop displaying it where reasonably practicable, subject to limitations such as backups, legal obligations, prior authorized uses, moderation records, and technical constraints.
8. LookBook Content and Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, interface, branding, logos, names, editorial structure, text, graphics, software, code, layouts, curation, collections, and other materials created by or for LookBook, is owned by LookBook or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, reverse engineer, scrape, or exploit any part of the Service except as expressly permitted by these Terms or with our written permission.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
9. Community Standards
The Service is intended to be a calm, respectful, photography-first member environment. You agree not to submit or engage in content or conduct that:
Is unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, harassing, threatening, abusive, hateful, or invasive of privacy;
Promotes violence, exploitation, self-harm, or illegal activity;
Contains sexually explicit content, graphic violence, or other content inappropriate for the Service;
Infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
Includes spam, scams, malware, phishing, or manipulative activity;
Attempts to buy, sell, broker, or advertise vehicles through the Service in a way that conflicts with the Service’s editorial purpose;
Posts pricing, showroom-style sales language, or commercial solicitations where not expressly allowed;
Scrapes, harvests, or collects member information;
Interferes with the operation, security, or integrity of the Service;
Attempts to evade moderation, bans, subscription requirements, or technical restrictions.
We may remove, restrict, demote, or refuse to display content at our discretion.
10. Moderation and Enforcement
We may review, moderate, remove, edit for formatting, restrict, or decline to publish User Content at our discretion. We may also suspend or terminate accounts, limit access, remove profile information, or take other action if we believe a user has violated these Terms, created legal risk, harmed the member experience, or acted inconsistently with the purpose of the Service.
We are not obligated to monitor all User Content, and we do not guarantee that all objectionable content will be removed immediately.

11. Copyright Complaints
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, you may send a notice to help@lookbookllc.com with:
Your name and contact information;
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
Identification of the allegedly infringing material and where it appears;
A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized;
A statement that the information in your notice is accurate;
Your physical or electronic signature.
We may remove allegedly infringing content and may terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.
12. No Vehicle Sales, Brokerage, or Transaction Advice
The Service may display collections, events, profiles, or contact information. LookBook does not inspect vehicles, verify ownership, guarantee authenticity, appraise value, broker sales, process vehicle payments, or act as an agent for any member.
Any off-platform inquiry, communication, transaction, meeting, purchase, sale, trade, inspection, transportation, or dispute is solely between the individuals involved. You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence and complying with applicable laws.
13. Third-Party Services and Links
The Service may reference or link to third-party websites, services, events, businesses, platforms, or content. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.
14. App Store Terms
If you download or use the Service through Apple’s App Store, you acknowledge that Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the Service or its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms as they relate to your use of the app, and Apple may enforce those terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
Your use of the app must also comply with applicable App Store terms and conditions.
15. Feedback
If you submit ideas, suggestions, proposals, concepts, or other feedback, you grant LookBook the right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you. We are not obligated to keep feedback confidential.
16. Service Changes and Availability
We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or limit access to any part of the Service at any time. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
We may release new features, change existing features, remove features, or impose usage limits.
17. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. You may also request account deletion by contacting us at help@lookbookllc.com.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, failed to pay required fees, infringed rights, misused the Service, or caused harm to LookBook, members, or others.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including provisions relating to intellectual property, User Content licenses, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, disputes, and governing law.
18. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, LookBook disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, security, accuracy, and reliability.
We do not guarantee that:
The Service will meet your expectations;
The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free;
User Content will be accurate, lawful, or reliable;
Any member, vehicle, event, business, or third-party opportunity is legitimate or suitable;
Content will always be preserved or available.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LookBook and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, or other intangible losses arising from or relating to your use of or inability to use the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LookBook’s total liability for any claim arising from or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to LookBook for the Service in the three months before the claim arose; or (b) $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some limitations may not apply to you.
20. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LookBook and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, service providers, and affiliates from and against claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from or relating to:
Your use of the Service;
Your User Content;
Your violation of these Terms;
Your violation of law;
Your infringement or violation of another person’s rights;
Your off-platform communications, meetings, or transactions with other users or third parties.
21. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where prohibited by applicable law.
22. Dispute Resolution
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at help@lookbookllc.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will also attempt to resolve disputes informally where reasonable.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the parties agree that disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Iowa, unless applicable law requires another forum.
23. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice as required by law, such as by posting the updated Terms, updating the effective date, or notifying you through the Service.
Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
